Spring cabbage violet pest control technology

Purple cabbage is generally resistant to diseases when pest control is properly managed, making it an ideal crop for producing high-quality, pesticide-free vegetables that can be consumed raw. However, during the seedling stage, high humidity may lead to issues such as damping-off and downy mildew. These problems can be effectively controlled using fungicides like Yunsheng, Dasheng, Carbendazim, Xinluling, and Anke. In terms of insect pests, aphids, diamondback moths, and cabbage worms are the main threats. To manage aphids, you can apply 50% Imidacloprid WP at a dilution of 2000–3000 times or use Scorpion at 1000–1500 times. For cabbage worms, Anji Microemulsion diluted 1000–1500 times or Obtained (26.7–33.3 ml per mu) is effective. Diamondback moth infestations can be controlled by spraying a 1000–1500 times dilution of a suitable insecticide or using Easy Control at 1000 times. When harvested at the right time, purple cabbage has good storage and transport resistance. It can be harvested in multiple batches depending on its maturity. The yield per mu can reach 3000–4000 kg. During harvesting, it's recommended to leave 2–3 outer leaves intact and store the cabbage in a cool, dry place to maintain freshness and quality. Proper post-harvest handling ensures longer shelf life and better marketability.
