Regularly introduce rams from different regions to maintain genetic diversity. Assign ear tags to both male and female sheep and keep detailed mating records, including breeding dates, methods, and lambing outcomes. Control the ratio of males to females to prevent inbreeding and maintain high-quality breeds. 6. Feed green forage. Cultivate dedicated land for growing grasses like alfalfa, ryegrass, and Rumex. In summer and autumn, feed fresh grass, and during harvest seasons, dry or silage it for winter use. Additionally, grow corn for annual silage to ensure a continuous supply of nutritious feed. 7. Disinfection. Regularly disinfect the sheep house, open areas, feeding troughs, water containers, and tools using different types of disinfectants in rotation to prevent disease outbreaks and maintain a clean environment. 8. Balanced feeding. Formulate feed with the right amount of corn and mix it with protein sources like soybean meal, bran, fishmeal, and bone meal. Add appropriate vitamins and mineral supplements to ensure a well-balanced diet that supports growth, immunity, and reproduction.
