Cooling system scale cleaning method

The engine uses water that is not completely softened, and scale is formed in the cooling system. Scale is not easy to heat transfer, accumulation of more, it will cause the engine to overheat; uneven accumulation, will cause mechanical crack due to uneven heat transfer. Therefore, the amount of scale deposits in the cooling system should be considered, or the scale should be cleaned every 500 to 1500 h of the engine cycle. The following describes two cleaning methods.

1, let go of the cooling water, add 25? hydrochloric acid solution, park for 10min, the scale will fall off, dissolve, release the cleaning solution, and then rinse with water. Sometimes the released cleaning liquid is mixed with a scale block to block the drain valve. At this time, the water pipe below can be directly removed to release the cleaning solution. The cleaning solution is corrosive and care must be taken not to splash on the skin or clothing. In case of splashing, rinse immediately with clean water. Note that when preparing an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid, the hydrochloric acid should be slowly poured into water, and can be used after mixing. Do not pour water into hydrochloric acid.

2. Drain the cooling water and inject a mixture of 6 hot water, 0.5% caustic soda (caustic soda) and 0.1? kerosene into the water tank, let stand for 2 hours, and run the engine for 10 minutes. This interval runs 5 to 6 times or the engine load is continuous. After 10 to 12 hours of operation, the cleaning fluid was released. After the engine is slightly cold, clean the water tank and water channel with clean water. If it is found that the scale has not been removed, use the method described above and clean it again.

With an oxygen booster, the oxygen pressure can be to 150bar and fill in cylinders.
