Each Rim Cylinder is machined from solid brass bar stock and is furnished with lost motion tailpiece, trim ring, mounting plate, and break-off screws. The standard rim cylinder can be easily converted to a Mortise Cylinder by simply replacing the rim tailpiece assembly with the appropriate cam.
