1. In the carbon-sulfur analyzer, the electric arc furnace should use high-purity oxygen to assist combustion. The use of oxygen must be in accordance with the safety regulations for the use of oxygen.

2. After connecting the power cord, you must use the test pencil to check whether the socket and the housing are energized. If the socket is energized, the phase and neutral of the power supply should be exchanged and then tested with a test pencil; if the housing is extremely charged Should be connected to the ground wire. It is important to ensure that the electric arc furnace is operated without the charge of the electric arc furnace and the housing.

3. After the electric arc furnace of the carbon-sulfur analyzer is operated, the temperature of the furnace body, the crucible and the crucible is high, so do not touch them with your hands to avoid burns. At the moment when the arc button is pressed, the combustion system must not be touched.

4, the furnace should be present on the panel using the meter, adjusting the sample electrode rod end gaps in the crucible (4 -8mm ) . If you press the " arc start " button, the ammeter reading is very small or no reading, which means that the gap between the sample and the sample is too large, then the electrode should be pulled down a little. It is found that the ammeter reading is too large or exceeds the limit range, and there is no vibration sound, indicating that the pole has zero gap to the sample ( that is, the pole is short-circuited with the sample ), and the pole should be adjusted upward.

5. When the furnace needs to start the arc under normal use conditions, as long as the “ arcing arc ” button is pressed momentarily, the hand can be released and the sample can be ignited at high speed. If it is pressed several times and cannot be ignited, check the gap between the pole and the sample. It is forbidden to press the “ Arc Start ” button for a long time to avoid burning the circuit components.

6. When operating the furnace, the operation of the pneumatic system must use the “ pre-oxygen, post-control gas ” process to adjust the oxygen pressure to 0.04mpa to adjust the flow rate of the flowmeter. 100 liters / hour. The oxygen supply system is connected to the inlet of the furnace by an oxygen cylinder through an oxygen pressure reducing valve or a low pressure oxygen gas connected to a low pressure gas storage tank ( without water pressure ) . Remember to use an oxygen supply method that does not comply with this regulation.

7. In the case of unstable test, the airway leakage test can be carried out by the pressure difference method of the communicating device. If it is found that there is air leakage in the airway, the “ pre-oxygen ” switch can be opened to make the gas circuit and the combustion part oxygenate. Then apply soapy water to each sealed joint and rubber hose joint to check for leaks and correct them.

8. The furnace is equipped with a preheating device, which is controlled by a preheat button switch. The switch is turned on and the preheat indicator is on, indicating that the preheater is turned on. Burn 2-3 samples during normal continuous operation to increase the enthalpy temperature to 60 -100 ° C The test can be carried out by turning off the preheat switch ( do not remove the preheater ) ; when the operation is continuous, if the temperature is too high, the wet seat can be used to cool the sley; when it is used intermittently ( test before the furnace ) , it is turned on. Preheating device, preheating effect can be obtained with the squat (60 -100 ° C ) .

9. In the furnace body cavity filter copper mesh, dust collector and other places, too much dust will hinder the test stability, using a small brush to remove. You can also use the leather tiger to blow off the dust. Generally, do 30-40 samples. The dust should be cleaned once. When the dust remover removes the dust, you should pay attention to whether the dust paper is intact. If there is damage, please replace it in time, otherwise the dust will pass through the single tube.
