Method for preparing fish scale glue
Fish scale glue is an animal glue widely used in people's daily life and industrial production. The main raw materials are fish scales and fish gills. Fish scale production methods: 1. Dipping. Scales should be selected for larger fish. In order to facilitate processing, it must be selected according to the type, and then subjected to four steps of soaking alkali, pickling, liming and neutralizing. Alkali soaking: soaking in a 5% caustic soda solution for 5 minutes removes grease from the scales and expands the scales. Rinse with water until alkali-free. Then soaked with dilute hydrochloric acid solution 4 times, called pickling acid, time is about 20 to 24 hours, of which the first should be short, the fourth is long. After soaking with acid, it is washed repeatedly with water, and then soaked in lime water of 0.2%-0.4%. It is called liming for about 10 to 14 days. It is finally washed and diluted with dilute hydrochloric acid. 2. Silicone. After the above treatment, the fish scales can be placed in a steamer and smashed for several times in a row so that the gum can be extracted. The cooking temperature is preferably 60-70°C. Each cooking time is 2 to 3 hours, and the water consumption is 1 to 1.5 times of the scale weight. 3. Dry. After removing the glue, remove the glue solution, filter it with a filter cloth, heat it in a shallow pan, and let it cool down and solidify into a jelly. The scraper is used to scrape the jelly into thin slices of about 0.5 to 1 cm in thickness, and is dried in a drying room to obtain a finished product.
