[Chongqing] multi-function harvester achieve zero breakthrough

On May 6th, in a flat rape field in Tongxi Farm, Hechuan, Chongqing, a multi-functional combine harvester was easily carrying out the operation of the canola. The Municipal Agriculture Commission's Grain and Oil Division and the leaders of the Hechuan District Agriculture Committee and the Southwest University experts went to the site for on-the-spot investigation.

The multi-functional combine harvester introduced by Hechuan Tongxi Farm can harvest rice and wheat and harvest rapeseed. Compared with manual harvesting of rapeseed, a multi-functional combine harvester can save labor costs of 150 yuan per mu, harvesting efficiency is more than 10 times that of manual harvesting, and the loss rate is less than 5%. Through the machine receiving operation, it can not only save the cost of rapeseed planting, but also greatly shorten the harvest time, and provide sufficient time for the planting of the next season crops, thereby improving the output efficiency of the land.
