Causes and Elimination of Increased Internal Pressure in Diesel Engine

Causes and Elimination of Increased Internal Pressure in Diesel Engine

Some diesel vents spray oil, oil leaks at the connection points of the mats, oil consumption increases, and horsepower drops. The main reason for these phenomena is that the air in the crankcase has formed pressure and has been expanded outwards. In normal operation of the diesel engine, there is a certain amount of airflow in the crankcase. Therefore, the diesel engine has a respirator in the high gauge to discharge the air in the crankcase so that it does not form an internal pressure. Caused by the increase in internal pressure, the main causes of oil leakage in various areas are: 1. Respiratory device blockage. The respirator should be carefully inspected to remove the oil around the respirator and allow the exhaust to clear. 2, cylinder liner, piston wear, piston ring counterparts. Cylinder liners and pistons wear out in an oval shape. When the diesel engine is doing work, high-pressure air enters the crankcase. If it is seriously worn, it needs to be replaced; if it is a piston ring, you need to adjust the opening angle and stagger the installation by 120 degrees. 3, intake and exhaust valve clearance is too large or small. If the valve clearance is too large or too small, the intake air is insufficient or the exhaust gas is not smooth. Because the fresh air cannot be promptly introduced, the exhaust gas will also cause the internal pressure of the crankcase to rise. Therefore, adjust the gap between the intake and exhaust valves. If the above points are achieved, the internal pressure will drop and the leakage will be controlled.
