Maintenance after air brake locking

After the brake in the air brake system is suddenly locked, the following methods should be used for maintenance. 1. Inaccurate pressure should be promptly replaced or corrected (the pressure of the reserve gas tank in the brake circuit must be higher than 0.5 MPa after braking); for air problems, the air compressor should be overhauled, the sewage discharged, and plugged. Live air leaks and clear the pipeline. The specific measures are as follows. (1) After starting the engine for a few minutes, if the barometer indicates "0" or the rise is slow, the brake pedal may be depressed. When the pedals are relaxed, there is a crisp sound of air release, indicating that the barometer is damaged and the fault is in the brake transmission mechanism or in the brake. If there is no exhaust sound or the sound is very small, it indicates that the pressure of the entire system is too low, and the fault leaks in the gas supply system or the pipeline. (2) The engine speed is controlled at medium speed. If the air pressure rises slowly, it should be turned off to check the barometer. If the pressure drops, indicating a leak, the leak should be identified. If the barometer can reach the working pressure, the location of the fault can be judged according to the pressure drop value after pressing the brake plate; if the pressure drop after the brake pedal is depressed is very small and the exhaust sound after releasing the pedal is also very Small, indicating that the main brake control valve is malfunctioning, check whether the intake valve is stuck. If the air pressure drops continuously after pressing the brake pedal, it means there is air leakage between the main brake control valve and the brake air chamber. 2. When overhauling the master cylinder and relay valve, the operation shall be strictly in accordance with the process requirements. Do not blindly disassemble, replace valves, pads, springs and so on. Before the unloading, it should be tested on the test bench to find out the fault site and then disassemble it. Ensure integrity when disassembling. 3. Pneumatic hand control valve and quick release valve must be tested on the test bench after overhaul. 4. Brake wheel cylinders must be tested after they are installed. If the left and right wheel cylinders are reversed, the reverse brake is normal, and the forward brake will fail. Conditions can be adjusted on the bench brake cylinder bolts to detect the effect of the forward and backward braking, and to ensure that the brake wheel cylinder seal, not belching. 5. Check the brake drum and friction lining clearance, whether the camshaft is stuck or loose, and whether the cam angle is correct. If the gap is too large, it can be adjusted by replacing the shoe return spring or by turning the support pin. The standard clearance between support pin and shaft hole is 0.06~0.17mm. If it is severe, replace the support pin and fit the pin support hole bushing before installing it. Oversized or severely out of round brake drums or thin friction linings must be replaced. There must be a suitable gap between the mating part and the friction pair.
