Corn bacterial wilt generally occurs at the end of corn filling and is an outbreak of devastating disease. Once onset, the corn will suddenly wilting, the entire plant leaves will be water-stained and dry and fade; the corn ear will droop and the temporal lobe will die; the stem will be water-stained at first, and once it encounters strong winds, it will fall into lodging. Prevention and control measures: 1. Rotation of crop rotation for two years; 2. Decrease soil moisture content and open a good “three ditch”; 3. Selection of resistant varieties, such as Yuyu 4, Liaodan 18, Shandan 9 number. Chemical control: 1. Use 70% pentachloronitrobenzene to make medicine soil with a dose of no more than 0.7%, cover the seeds when sowing. 2, in the early stage of corn filling with 3% cresol guaiacol 1000-1500 times plus 75% chlorothalonil 1000 times, mixed spraying or irrigation, can increase the prevention rate of 85.6% -88.7%.
